Sounds like a great idea until someone takes it from you. I've had mine taken from the top of my base in the past. I don't think it was from decay because I repaired it to full health before logging off for a few hours.

I mostly play on pure and I find most people are cool. I have ran into a few bad apples here and there but hey, that's life. I'm not saying the server is going to turn toxic and all the asshats will be unleashed all at once. I'm saying that this is Rust. I only know what I have seen on other servers that are PVP, and PVP seems to bring out the worst in people.

I like the idea of Zombies but the PVP aspect just sucks the fun out of the room. The fun will be had by those few that take Heli or Bradley and have massive amounts of C4/rockets/M249. Those of us that were lucky enough to find a semi with get wtfpwnd in no time and have to go primitive just to get wtfpwnd again. I know this is only for a few hours and we will all have to just start all over again anyways. I for one will not log on during the event just to get teabagged and laughed at.

Zombies with raiding and killing would be fun as long as you re-spawn with meds and weapons. I'd hate to die and have no access to anything once my base has been looted.

Good day eh, Just thought I'd drop by and say hi. I'm a total Rust newb and have been playing on one of the EZ servers for about a month now. I try to keep to my self and not make much of a fuss.
